Welcome to Dogport Daycare
and Dog Wash!

Dogport Daycare offers daycare services for dogs in a group setting.  We have a fun, protected, indoor environment for your dog to play in and socialize with other dogs while being watched over by our caring staff.  We provide a comfortable space for your dog so you can work, shop, or tour the area without worry about leaving your friend behind.

Dogport Dog Wash has facilities for you to wash your dog in comfort without worrying about the mess.  We provide large raised tubs with temperature controlled spray hoses and tie downs for safety.  We supply the shampoo and other grooming supplies, including a dryer to finish up the job.

Dogport Boarding is now offered.  When you are out of town, your dog will romp and play with other fun dogs in our daycare during the day.  Then retire to a cozy bed in a private crate or kennel overnight.

Dogport serves the Central Oregon Coast in Lincoln County, including Newport, Depoe Bay, Toledo, Seal Rock and Waldport.

Puppy Classes, Group Classes, Private Lessons available.

Positive Pooches uses a mixture of positive reinforcement and clicker training to work with you and your dog.  We believe building a strong positive relationship with your dog is more important than flawless execution of commands.  After all, you have to live with your dogs and dog ownership is a lifetime commitment.  Classes are held right here at Dogport.  Call Dogport for more information and class schedule.

Peggy Hibner is the owner/manager of Dogport. Several years ago, she traveled the country in a motor home, leaving her dog at various daycares along the way.  When she settled into Newport 3 years ago, there was something missing…  A dog daycare!  Using her knowledge of animals, and her love of dogs, she decided she was the one to lead such an endeavor.  Peggy is a certified veterinary technician, with over 19 year’s experience!  She offers a unique and wonderful opportunity for your 4-legged family members.
